One Moment, For Today

Stop for one minute.

Listen to a bird singing its song,

Watch the sunrise,

Telling you the day has just begun.

Cherish a hug from your children before

they go to school;

Dance like no one's watching,

Even if you feel like a fool.

Take your time;

Smell a beautiful rose,

Stand under a tree,

Smile and pose.

Take just one moment for today;

Tomorrow isn't here yet,

That's another day.

Stop for one minute;

Breathe in the sweet air,

Take the world in around you,

Show your mind that you care.

Today is today;

You can't predict tomorrow;

So, for today;

Live here and now,

Bless your day with the present moment;

Bless tomorrow when it comes.
