One Moment

one moment

that’s all it takes.

one moment,

and your life could change forever

how is it that one moment we are six

playing in a sandbox with bare feet

calloused hands

and the next day we are 16 in our first car

windows down

wind gently kissing our cheeks

just dying to get out of this town

and woah

one moment later

we are 20 finishing our sophomore year of college

bright eyed for what’s coming in our

future

our future

this is something we only dream about

but now,

some of our biggest dreams are becoming realities

how is it that

it feels like we were just that 6 year old little girl,

not a fear in the world,

and now I’m a 20 year old woman (yes, woman)

who is scared and terribly afraid of what’s to come

of who to love,

or what to love,

and what’s next for me

and EVERYTHING.

there is no limit to the things that scare me besides the fact that they never end!

but this fear shouldn’t paralyze me,

it should just make me aware

aware of all the opportunities

and how many

moments

I have left

countless opportunities to be the best ME i can be

to find out WHO me is

to become beautifully beautiful

in my own way

one moment can change your life

so don’t be afraid

always keep dreaming.
