Tossing and turning
From pillow to sheet
Covered to uncovering
my lonely, naked body
Putting on sweet melodies to fall asleep
Trying to forget you
Forget all of you
Who've stolen my heart
And thrown it back to me
Scratched
Scuffed
Bent
Stretched
So many scars left on my heart
No way to repair
So I turn
From side to side
Every night
To shake the memories out of my mind
To make room
For another one
And it repeats
Like the same with all the others
As if I want to hurt myself
To distract myself from what I know I should be doing
