On Mars

I’m told I don’t know how to listen,

So I listen to Green.

Her soothing rustle always captures my attention,

And brings me back to life.

I don’t know whom to trust sometimes,

So I confide in Ochre.

An ogre some might call him,

Yet his gentle soul holds all my secrets safe.

I don’t take chances often,

But neither does Sienna.

She’s been burned so many times, she tells me,

Her scars still feel so raw.

You know, I tried staying neutral,

Just like Black.

To take back my power,

Except, I would no longer get invited to any parties.

Am I deep?

Like Golden.

An old soul,

They fill up any room with their outstanding presence.

I try to be transparent,

But who is really brave to be that?

Like that. Not Cobalt Blue.

He’s so opaque, he trusts nobody.

So I moved on Mars,

The brown one.

The blue here is cerulean,

I used it to paint the sky.

A Titan, with boiling blood,

Hiding in Payne’s shadow.

No light, I see no Light.

The Grey still shoots his arrows.
