PHILOSOPHICAL POETRY

Start A past of unforgotten walls behind while looking at the open door.

As the cubs leave their den you venture on, hesitant to find bears.

As the diver plunges into the depths sacrificing the risk with his fate remodeled.

The moments of the storms where the visions of tomorrow’s brightness is to come.

Cherish the past for it is a part of the foundation that built the walls.

In order to detach there is much thought and only blindness.

With the faith of the teachings still fresh in the mind.

As to changing a station on the radio while you quickly alter the thoughts.

For this life is to breathe but to stand the test of change

About the Creator

Leah Hicks

I am choosing to write poetry as I have to keep learning and developing my psyche hopes to help someone along the way. By using my mind and the use of metaphor is another way I can describe the invisible.
