Old pictures on a computer screen

I'm sitting at my computer.
Scrolling on Instagram.
Seeing a bunch of old photographs.
I start to feel an array of emotions.
Life was much simpler back then.
They were not addicted to screens like us.
Wait...
Medicine sucked back then.
Many people were poor.
Wages were insanely low.
Infrastructure sucked.
In some cases, anyway.
People seemed happy though.
Mental health existed.
But was never talked about.
People could always find entertainment.
The music was better.
It was not so artificial.
Thinking about all these things though.
I am grateful I live in the now.
I like some of the values of the past.
However, I am grateful for more advanced technology and medicine.
