Old Gods

Hidden in Flesh

What of when the Old Gods meet?

Boundless forms condensed

Contained within mechanisms

Of human flesh

Feverish against the infection

They cannot purge

A rebellion of the construct

Against its foundation

Sufficed to sink

Subjugated to swim

Entirely uncertain

Of ones own buoyancy

What of when the Old Gods meet?

Bashful and uncertain

One endless stare

To seek the other

If only to be seen again

If only to be known

And to give in

To the freedom of it

What of when the Old Gods meet?

The perimeters of their silhouettes

Dissolving into each other

Until they are born anew

Unafraid of consequence

What of when the Old Gods meet?

And they once again learn

What it is to be Gods.
