Oh what a shower

Oh what a show

Keir Starmer resigned dontcha know

New Labour leadership race

Not even two horses

To show their faces

So far just

Big Andy Burnham

To set the pace

And rescue the Labour reputation

For organisational disgrace

Of course the job’s not yet his

So just watch out who you back

For there may just be a crack

In Sir Galahandy’s masterly plan

A week in Politics is a long time

Or so they say

And please don’t forget

The King still has a say in this contest

No not your King Donald

But Charlie the real deal

With a plan of his own

King of Canada where

Donald is not welcome

Any more than he is in Greenland

But Chuck is also King

Of this UK thing

And he

Not social media

Instatwitterfeeder

Appoints the PM

Without reference to them

And AB may well discover

King C's love of Andrews

Has diminished

Because of his brother

So please wait upon His verdict

Then again

Who cares who gets the job

But

If you are interested in my

Ten bob's worth

It will be one politician or

Another

Union brother

To bother us with their

Fancy theories of all

That is right and wrong

So let's get this song and dance over

And get back to our

Love Island and Celebrity Traitors

World Cup and Wimbledon

Who wants to wait any longer

Funny Thing is

Nobody did more to get Starmer Out

Than Nigel Farage and

His Reform headbangers

Has he dropped a clanger

By getting his voters

To get Andy in

And what will Nige say

When

Come polling day

They all stay away

Or vote to give

The new boy a chance

At enhancing these islands'

Tarnished reputation

Only time

Will tell

celebrities
