Part 1:

The lights of the city.

The wind coursing through my hair.

The inhibitions fading away.

Oh, to be so drunk.

The world passing by me.

The rhythm coursing through my body.

The stresses of the week dissipating.

Oh, to be so drunk.

The connection.

The friendship.

The wild nights

Oh, to be so drunk.

The laughs.

The cries.

The eternal memories.

Oh, to be so drunk.

My happiness.

My youth.

Oh, to be so drunk.

Part 2.

The depression that turns from days into years.

The happiness that turns to sadness.

The lover that turned to a stranger.

Oh, to be so drunk.

The betrayal.

The lies.

The days where time stands still.

Oh, to be so drunk.

The person that I loved.

The person that shattered me.

The person that made me irreparable.

Oh, to be so drunk.

The plaguing thoughts i have.

The choices I’ve made.

The things I’ve done.

Oh, to be so drunk.

The people of my life.

Have come and gone.

Only one thing I can rely on.

Oh, to be so drunk.
