Oh to be

A president

By Dawn HendersonPublished 4 months ago • 1 min read

Oh to be the president

Of the land of the free

Who’s congress CAN stand up to him

And stand up for you and thee

Oh to be a president

Who DOESN’T believe in the power of guns

Has regard for his citizens

And the lives of your sons

Oh to be a president

Who WONT fill his congress fast

With supporters and businessmen

And those who kiss his …

Oh to be a president

Who DOESNT sets his military

Onto his own people

To control speech, bring misery

Oh to be a president

Who believes he brings in peace

And WONT let his own citizens

Die of hunger and disease

Oh to be a president

Who DOESNT try to show his might

Or tread on the women

To remove them from their rights

Oh to be the president

Who WONT arrest those who are different

And deport them to a country

Without their consent

Oh to be a president

Who WONT lie to his country

WONT Make up such stories

That aren’t true and will never be

Oh to be a president

Of the free and brave all round

And WONT allow his country

To slowly burn into the ground

Oh to be the president

Who defeats such hate for thee

Revives his country back again

As truly land of the brave and free
