Oh, the poor gingerbread man

He ran till he ran away

No one could catch him, one can?

*****

Then there came a baker man

Who came up with a good way

Oh, the poor gingerbread man

*****

Then they set up the bright plan

They put out some sweets one day

No one can catch him, one can?

*****

Of sweets he was a good fan

The cookie had come to play

Oh, the poor gingerbread man

*****

He ran as fast as he can

Right into the cold endplay

No one can catch him, one can?

*****

There was no way to outplan

In the frozen, he must stay

Oh, the poor gingerbread man

No one can catch him, one can.
