Oh Sun

The sky is now a sea of grey

Oh sun

Has thou forsaken us

Two months past

Since I have seen your

Sweet face

The world turns

Like it should

On its axis

The moon rises

Without fail

Into a clear night sky

Yet you insist

On hiding

Behind clouds

Of grey

I do not remember

What you look like

I cannot recall

The feel of your warmth

On my skin

The winter rains

Were relentless

Yet you still offer

No sense of

Respite

How I long

Oh sun

To gaze upon

Your sweet face

Once more

Oh sun

Why

Have you gone and

Left us here

Alone?
