Officially in a relationship

back here she comes again

carrying bags of pain

to destroy the last parts of me that remain

herself, she welcomes in

wearing the biggest grin

ready to make my world once more spin

“how have you been?” she asks

i reply “so much better without you thanks”

and then she lets out the most dramatic of gasps

i felt so lonely without her presence, but in a good way

this time she has not come to just play

she unpacks and says she is here to stay

this is more than just a quick trip

says that she is sick of the friends with benefits script

now she is ready for a committed relationship

i have been searching a love like hers for too long

she is probably the only arms i will ever belong

maybe this time it will not go so terribly wrong

i give in to it all and to be mine, i let her

now stuck with her forever

me and depression are officially together
