Office Politics
A short poem about office politics
A penny drops from the sky, Just another day
Office politics can be quite the intricate dance,
Where alliances shift and whispers advance.
A penny’s worth of power, a subtle sway,
In the fluorescent-lit corridors, they play.
The breakroom gossip, the passive-aggressive smile,
The coffee machine confessions, all the while.
Promotions, backstabbing, hidden agendas unfold,
In this corporate tango, secrets bought and sold.
So we navigate the cubicles, our armor on tight,
Balancing ambition and diplomacy just right.
For in this daily drama, we find our place,
A penny’s worth of power, in this intricate space. 💼✨
