In shadowed halls where heroines falter and flee,

I pledge my heart to the queen of the night

Her venomous charm spreads beautifully

She weaves her webs with a siren's decree

Toppling thrones in a cascade of spite

In shadowed halls where heroines falter and flee

No caped crusader is a match, you see

For in her laughter, the stars lose their light

Her venomous charm spreads beautifully

I hoard her monologues, fierce as the sea,

And toast to the schemes that she plots with delight

In shadowed halls where heroines falter and flee

Her crimson gown trails like a prophecy,

A blade in silk, where the righteous mistook

Her venomous charm spreads beautifully

So let the good triumph, their banners unfurl,

I'll kneel at her altar, unbowed and unmeek:

In shadowed halls where heroines falter and flee,

Her venomous charm spreads beautifully
