Ode of the Burdened

Cannot one describe, the feelings they carry in the deep

There's no time to let them breathe

Weighing down with such heaviness

Holding back it all before they crumble and weep

---

Walks must be what they have been

None may receive those desired exceptions

Trembling and screaming from the inside but never out

Secret wishes that someone would find their way in

---

Terror and darkness with no tunnel ending in that bright light

Unable to believe when they know what to do

Fumbles and fails come from strength that is waning

Left with the silent unyield cries of the soul at night

---

Unhinged their inners slowly begin to feel

The anchor has fallen by the wayside

Gripping onto that which binds

Wondering, is anything real

---

A kick to the inners

A thrust to the power inside

Tormented by the losses and ghosts

This thing called life, definitively not for the beginners

---

Don't carry on past the points of its meanings being nothingness

Don't be the monster that appears from the depths of despair and suffering

Carry on with the power of all those cheering you on in your journey

And strive forward with the power of a meaningful purposefulness

---

For purpose burdens all who come before the trials of this life

It defines all from the strong to the weak and the scared

Choosing that which you will be often hard

Easier for the unscarred
