Elemental female powers reveal themselves

Smell of sweet apple cider with a tinge of burned cinders

Pungent dead leaves blazing red and yellow as they swirl to the moist earth

Pegasus and Aquarius light the night skies in harmony with a crisp chill, foreshadowing the coming winter and its icebox end-of-year blues

Elemental female powers reveal themselves in women chanting, as they, once again, celebrate the rite of their sisterly power to give life

Their black cat familiars join them in a joyful dance of dominion and acceptance of the natural order of things.

Ancient Druid bonfires and Celtic end-of-harvest days replaced by little kids in costumes and carved-out, rotting pumpkins

At the graveyard gates, spirits thousands of years gone still make their mournful, wailing sounds that fall silent on living ears
