Pathetic Fallacy

Like the sonnet of Shakespeare said,

Fall is the time where very few leaves hand in trees,

With bare branches being the ruined choir where birds sang.

Like in our lives, October signifies old age,

Few months to grim death.

October brings the cold, the knees hurt, the back aches.

Our energy plummets and many people start getting sick.

Walking into October is like facing a mirror where it is time to reflect.

We are no longer in the action phase,

Like the trees we are forced to look back one last time.

The new rejuvenation of spring is a far look away,

The time of youth and growth is nowhere near in our vision.

But as nobody is wasted energy we either slum through or

Pass on and end at supper-not where we eat, but where we are eaten.
