October

When evening dark wanes through a long day's shine

When crisp goldens have found their solace with wine

The bees have found their homes in the silken ember colour,

And finally water is glistening to the brim with emerald green.

You know now the colours of october,

they aren't a hue, they are:

pumkins on harvests and mellow sweet mousse,

rusty brown and cornflower blue,

cider, russet, mauve ;

October has started and with it has started adieu.
