Octane

Poem

Gasoline lips are always causing fires.

I can’t breathe in..

Kill the flame slow, popping air out all the tires.

Now I take in..

Light the match and flick it higher,

And now I taste the..

Octane in the oxygen.

All my skin smells like is octane, with hints of collagen.

Bodies blow up because the octane, and cashmere.

I can sense the octane in the atmosphere.

Hydrogen eyes burning holes right through the skies.

Now the stars keep falling..

Set them all on fire, most of them believe in lies.

Now the air is made of..

It’s not a risk if no one dies..

From breathing in the octane.

It’s bleeding out there pores.

There’s something in the octane, ‘cause it’s tearing up the floors.

Bodies drop from all the octane inside of their lungs.

No one knows that it’s the octane..

They’re dying from.

The Nitrogen-oxide is damaging my beautiful.

I might change into someone juvenal.

Give me a signal that’s more usable.

Your flammable skin is almost hot to the touch.

I have to step away.

I can smell the ethanol, yet sober as a judge.

I’m breathing out..

The alcohol is pain-numbing.

I’ve gotta get the octane out of myself.

It’s eating me alive.

I’ve thrown up all the octane,

It’s flooding out my eyes.

I’m dying in the octane flowing through my blood.

I get sick from all the octane,

Now I’m stuck.
