obstacles on the mind

In the mind, they linger and reside,

These obstacles that we cannot hide.

They tower tall, a constant sight,

Blocking rays of hope and light.

They cloud our thoughts, and dim our souls,

And leave us feeling lost and cold.

But though they may seem fierce and tough,

Their hold is just a mental ruff.

For every obstacle that we face,

Is just a hurdle in the race.

A challenge that we must surpass,

And turn into an opportunity at last.

So let us stand tall and not be swayed,

By these obstacles that we've made.

For with every step, we will find,

That we're stronger than we thought, in our minds.
