One of billions hungering
For lightning to the thundering
Sharing every piece of mind
Now starving for a peace to find
On earth, in truth, in life and death
A poet since I first drew breath
A picture of a world so cold
Then hung it from my frigid soul
As old as time is nothing new
As empty as the sky is blue
I look at clouds, I just see clouds
I raze my flags, I just see shrouds
It makes no sense, this realist art
It makes no love, this abstract heart
For Mona Lisa still remains
Inside my Jackson Pollack brains
But should I shine my starry nights
She'd merely see the faintest lights
Of supernovas never known
Alone I claim this black hole throne
