Numb
Insensate Paralyses
Isolated sun rays shifting from warm to cool delights
thinly layered ice forms on the blades of grass at night
Leaves hang, barely clinging, shades of colors start to fade
imprints of illusions and what will be, begin to braid
Invigorating footsteps, uncover the crisp film, blanketed
another day of sun, melting the veiled coating, dusted with
Air escapes the lungs, creating clouds of condensation
all nature filmed in white, exceeding my grandest imagination
Intense wintry scenes collect, as goosebumps gather in the frore
brisk and nipping chills bite and nibble at your pores
Tiny hints of fall peek through the frosted breath of winter's kiss
what wondering could eyes imagine, during an idleness like this
