Perhaps this already knows everything

But would love to hear those savory words be said

That voice that screams inside your mind

Tells you to let out what you have to say

Because there is that minuscule chance that they care

But, maybe, just maybe you you could also be wrong…

They either do, or they don’t.

Regardless of what their voices tell them

They would like for a break

From the exhaustion of being unheard too

Yes, they shut others out

Out of fear of them not caring also.

But deep down inside

They are aware of making the other close up instead.
