Nothing's More Scarce Than Nothing

cold and distant

a vacant stare

speak if you want to

but there's no one there

feeling morose

life is mundane

but i will say when you leave

i am so glad you came

put on a show

really play the part

make the world think

that i have a heart

truth is...

i'm sick and i'm twisted

i know when i'm gone

i won't be lamented

i don't care

i'm the living dead

i died years ago

does that mess with your head

you can't hurt me

you can't get inside

too many secrets

i just have to hide

no time for pleasure

i'm just into pain

try to make me smile

but i will refrain

you cannot break thru

so don't even try

if i tell you i love you

ha ha ha well that's just a lie

i'm just an animal

as you can tell

a rabid beast

that must burn in hell

i'm harsh and i'm brutal

it's hard to explain

this is my defense

so i don't suffer pain

feel no emotions

nothing at all

but i will serve you

at your beck and call

when it is finished

just realize

no one was with you

just cold vacant eyes
