Nothing has meaning,

but

By Linda RyanPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

This is about how

Nothing has meaning, but

Autumn air smells like safety

In a big forest and a wooden hut

I lay with the other half

of my soul that I lost

Patting on my heart gently

Promising with no fingers crossed

Seeing nothing but darkness

Feeling the upcoming frost

My heart isn't scared

For I have not lost

Anything that has meaning

But everything I have crossed
