Not today or tomorrow is what to say

Show me one who would disagree

Nobody's in a rush for it to be this day

There is still plenty to do and more to see

Let's not forget all that we've already done

Take not for granted every act

Onto that once more we feel the sun

Pushing it away, even with a devil's pact

Rest not weary ones, not this day

And remember to breathe it all in as deep as one can

Live, and fear not of what lesser beings may say

Remember, the unspoken plan

For when it comes, you'll feel its hand

With grit and determination you'll fight again

Seldom does one live where everything goes as planned

For most of us, we want one more win

Push it to tomorrow

And one more day after that

Let not the day be changed by sorrow

Because in the devil's face you have spat

Not today

There's always more

And not tomorrow, people will say

But eventually, the final sunset comes to your door

But not today
