Not Enough Time

Not enough time. Not enough time.

Physical numbers

cold, heavy mercury

filling the skull.

One plus one equals dark.

Childhood faces

replaced with

unyielding grids.

Stop the equation. Let me miscalculate.

Primal panic

claws at consciousness.

The body belongs

to the ledger

a machine running

a terminal program.

Take the pages. Don't let the numbers see you.

Fragmented digits

backward, absolute.

Haiku - Not Enough Time

Cold grid fills the skull

Ledger chokes the primal mind

One plus one is dark.
