Not Dissimilar to a Box of Chocolates
Entry by Robert Sadler
I should preface: I have a horrible sense of direction,
So Google Maps has to have a connection,
Without it I’m lost, with nowhere to go.
But what does it give me? Just a destination,
It’s not like that ever prompted elation,
A to B, that’s all I needed to know.
To pretentiously pontificate, life is like Google Maps,
Once you’re at B, you don’t look at the app,
You close it, you’ve seen all it has to show.
So, I’ve started looking at the minutes between A and B,
Not the app, but looking at this beautiful world around me,
In life, all we have is the minutes between A and B, may as well look up, and see.
