Not All in Life

A Poem

Not all in life is dreary

Although rain may fall

Flowers will sprout from the mud

Not all in life is painful

Although loved ones may pass

New friends will come around

Not all in life is cruel

Although people murder and steal

Plenty more heal and give

Not all in life is scary

Although wars and disease run rampent

Always will calm and cure remain

Not all in life is dark

Although there may be shadows

All shadows must be cast by a light

Not all in life is unjust

Karma always comes for us

And nobody escapes their debts
