No Means No

a poem/song dedicated to an awful man

By CT IdlehousePublished 5 months ago • 1 min read

You can cover yourself in gold...

But it won't change the rot within.

Your hands are covered in oil...

There's no washing off your sin.

/

Should kept your legs closed...

Maybe the puck wouldn't have gone in.

Must be nice to have no soul...

No guilt about the things you did.

/

But I won't forget...

And she won't forget.

We won't forget

That no means no.

I won't let...

You forget...

Till your last breath...

We will scream that no means no!

/

You'll never have a peaceful life...

Because you're supposed to be in a cell.

I hope it keeps you up at night...

That millions wish you'd go to hell.

/

Maybe you shouldn't have dressed like that,

If you didn't want shots being taken at you.

The only heart that should be on the ice

Is yours ripped out and cleaved in two!

/

But I won't forget...

And she won't forget.

We won't forget

That no means no.

I won't let...

You forget...

Till your last breath...

We will scream that no means no!

/

You treat women like commodities,

Have private funds to pay off your legal fees.

That doesn't sound much to me,

Like actions of the innocent.

If you were sent to prison,

You would have found out in a hot minute,

Surrounded by bigger, dangerous men,

The definition of consent.

/

But I won't forget...

And she won't forget.

We won't forget

That no means no.

I won't let...

You forget...

Till your last breath...

We will scream that no means no!
