No Longer Nation

A free-write from class that spiraled into this

The future of our nation is uncertain.

Riots and fighting

We can no longer sit on the sidelines.

Learn to stand up.

Plagued by people who revere ignorance.

We can no longer be intolerant and hateful.

The ideal of knowledge, tossed aside.

Art and hobbies monetized.

We can no longer sustain ourselves.

A world at war

A nation on the brink

We can no longer ignore the outside.

There is no safety net.

Free falling through the cracks.

We can no longer save ourselves.

Social media takeover

Lives on display

We can no longer have privacy.

Adapt or die.

Live or lie.

We can no longer turn a blind eye.
