No Excuses

You my friend,

can wear anything

your heart tells you

to wear.

There are no excuses…….

You have the power

to walk

on any avenue

your mind tells you

to walk on.

There are no excuses……

You have the decision

to be as sunny

as a sunflower farm

or prickly

as sharp thorn bushes.

There are no excuses.

You can

be as sweet

as a bunch of grapes

or sour

as lime juice.

There are no excuses…….

You can

be smart

as a stack of books

or dumb

as an ugly gossiper.

There are no excuses……

You can

be active

as a fast running dog

or lazy

as a slow moving turtle.

There are no excuses……..
