All these paths we tread wearing holes in our shoes

Like sailboats wand'ring 'cross the ocean blue

So many things in life we'd like to do

Wonders worth seeing before we're through

Someone has come along

And he made do making right our wrongs

And he leads us in a happy song

All life long; all life long

The sun sets at the end of every day

Many of us still are trying to find our way

It seems we've all got debts we have to pay

And a piece of mind which we may never say

In the endless march into the mighty sea

No one's certain who they're supposed to be

A prophet spoke to the child inside of me

All I could know was I was finally free

Someone has come along

And he made do making right our wrongs

And he leads us in a happy song

All life long; all life long

What does it mean to be a man redeemed?

Maybe it's much simpler than it seems

Sometimes it hurts to awaken from a dream

O'er blue-ridged peaks the morning light still gleams
