Amid the realm where the conscious mind sleeps,
In the hollows of slumber, where darkness seeps.
Dreams, like specters, emerge from the deep,
A horror-filled journey, where nightmares creep.
Twisted visions in the midnight haze,
A chilling descent through a shadowy maze.
Monstrous faces and phantoms' wails,
In the land of dreams, reality pales.
Haunted by fears, in the night we're ensnared,
Innocence lost, and sanity bared.
In this world of nightmarish extremes,
We're prisoners of our own dark dreams.
But remember, dear dreamer, when night is through,
The waking world awaits, and dreams are not true.
Yet, in the depths of sleep, terror remains,
A reminder that the mind's labyrinth contains.
The horrors we face when consciousness wanes.
