~Night after Night!~
Corner girl street side hookers, a life like no other, understood by so few. Only their own kind, and the clients who accept and embrace that system and world as part of theirs too, will they find places of solace, rest, embracing, love, understanding, no judgments and safety. But it cannot be ignored or forgotten the risks that are put on the line, each and every day or night that they step foot out there and take their place on the corners where they are known, where they've become recognized for knowing that spot for them is home! Sometimes they don't make it out, never make it home and back to bed! Not enough is written about this, not enough is being said! So that is how and why I came to write this. To be sure that not only am I heard so are all those whose stories nobody ever knows about!

Sleep by day
Streets by night,
What a drive by sight
A courageous fight?
Doing it
Night after night.
Jewels
Fine hair,
Furs
Fine wear,
Catch
Their prey
God job,
Well done?
Take money
Walk away,
Nothing to say for some
What happens to their bodies
Doesn’t matter anymore anyway?
Nothing anyone can say
It’s just their way
Till (for some)
Their dying day.
Sleep by day
Streets by night
What a drive by site,

~ This Old Heart Of Mine!~ (2nd poem honoring the memory of life and legacy of the actor Heath Ledger, whom I was supposed to meet in Alberta but something happened to get in the way of that event! I never go a day wondering if Brad Pitt, Angie and I would all be thinking IF YOU 2 HAD MET would he STILL BE ALIVE Today? And that's when I came to realize and understand that living to be alive in the world means something different to everyone in this world. And I wanted to write something that shared how I have come to understand it, and how that makes his life force mean that he is with me always, so there is no more need to mourn, or feel sorrow and too much sadness! To reach him I just have to FEEL what he tells my heart and mind when I'm writing and/or just thinking of him! And having bought a Knight in honor of that representation of SHIELD of ARMOUR, I need only look at that to FEEL the affects of the Armour and the relationship that LIVES ON just like the representation of how long the Knight I bought will last and stand on guard for the both of us and everyone touched by his life and his movies!) From that I was recently finally able to finish the following poem! I hope you Enjoy it! :-)

My To Be Read List
I have been taking some time away from writing. I haven't forgotten about Vocal, the truth is I just have been too busy pursuing other things to write online and honestly, my little family and I just had a really hard month between the flu and a weird eye infection/cold circulating our house. I'm currently sipping some warm peppermint tea because my throat is sore.
