newness, now

on monotony

By angela hepworthPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

rise

work

repeat

wash

read

watch

and

sleep

same

as

lives

down

the

street

everywhere

and

everyone

we

meet

must

all

compete

and

try

to complete

the

impossible

work

critique

wake

up

die

scream

once

again

the

world

spins

and

minds

pretend

to

be

someplace

else

nothing

works

nothing

helps

it

all

hurts

it

all

melts

in

between

the

shifts

of

routine

this

is

how

we

felt:

newness

now

or

we’ll

fade

away

forever

all

Thank you everyone for reading! I hope to be more active as of late ♥️
