New Year's Eve

Peel the masks to reveal the face

The one real object so out of place

Be yourself - one and all

For the time has come to the Crystal Ball

The clock will rise

The cheers will fall

For this is the biggest celebration of all

A new year

Welcomed in with full shout

A clean slate

For a moment all petty worries are wiped out

Start all over with your midnight mate

Place your kisses

Make it fast

For New Year wishes are destined to never last
