the off-white flaky walls
peeling
for redemption
consoled you long enough
raising you through familiar tides
ocean floors
and
crashing you
into grey stone walls
how many times
have you tried
chipping away
at the flimsy layers
trusting the process
or
skeptically sabotaging
your next coating
what becomes of a delicate touch
stroked and brushed
glazed and gazed
over 2900 times
stand still my love
stand still
in between orange and green
the effect of light
yellow and luminous
and
permutable paint drippings
