New friends

“New faces, same loneliness. Trust don’t come easy anymore.”

By willow urbanPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

i want new friends,

but fear holds me back,

i’m so stuck on my past,

afraid i’ll relapse.

i feel as if,

no friend is for me,

always remember,

you can’t trust anybody.

just trusting someone once,

might hurt you in the end.

Not knowing what you’re putting yourself through,

all for a friend.

Always watch your back,

i’ve pulled knives from mine.

backstabbing people,

always find the right time.

You won’t know when,

but you’ll find out soon.

when the pain starts creeping,

begging to bloom.
