New Dream

Lines Of Rhyme

By Gee On A JourneyPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

I’m sick of waiting and waiting

For something that shouldn’t be so belated

I wanna be elated

Not daydreaming and sedated

I’d rather fast

Die young and live fast

I don’t wanna use my breaks

I’ll break my back if that’s what it takes

Spice my life up

Soup my engine up

Where does that road lead?

One where I’m going at high speed

Somebody please speak

High speed with no direction

Goes against all intuition

Who’s got more ammunition?

I wanna shoot dead dreams

With whipped cream

Swallow so much I can’t breathe

And when I wake up and finally see

My new dream is still by the sea

But with whom will it be?
