Poem by L Howlett aka My Poetic Voice

I wish I was in Neverland

I wish I was the only footsteps in nowhere land

I want the dream because reality just bites off your hand

I don't know how to treat because these are lessons I was never taught so how can I understand

I wish I was a lost boy but

Not in this land

I wish to be of sound mind

Alone with footsteps that keeps me in time

I wish I was in Neverland

I wish My fears were just grains of sand

I could let slip through my hands

To be in a nowhere land

Spirits in the clouds that we never understand

All dreams in someone else's hands

I can't live in a universe were you can't escape to Neverland
