Let’s stamp out antisemitism

It began as a promise

Between God and Man

A thousand stars

And grains of sand

The promise grew

From that older womb

A nation from twelve

That grew and grew

Through generations

They have stayed strong

And spread the world over

As a mighty song

And through it all

They have fought to exist

A proud nation

To live, they resist

Resist those who want

To wipe them out

But they keep fighting

They have no doubt

To be a voice

Stand strong and proud

Wherever they live

They must shout out loud

“You can’t destroy us

Not matter how hard

You continue to try

To bring us Jihad

We’ll fight through our

Voices and silent the throng

Of all those who kill us

We say it’s so wrong”

And now the worst

Is happening again

We must stop it

Can’t happen again

Antisemitism

Grows thick and fast

Can we not see

It’s repeating the past?

It’s time for all of us

To get off the couch

Your voices are needed

So very much

Never again can this happen

For almost 80 years, we’ve cried

It’s time to stop the hate

It’s time to turn the tide

To unity and love

It’s time ALL make the vow

With passion, we yell out

NEVER again is NOW

About the Creator

Linda Bromley

Just one of many creative outlets for me has been books! My whole life I’ve loved them and it’s so easy to make the jump to writing.

Recently I completed a poetry challenge and now, looking for more excuses to write, I’ve found myself here!
