Double-edged swords cut the deepest

Ideas die on the vine every day

Starving for sunlight’s return

The Sun giveth, the Sun taketh away

Rays fleet, fickle as a feeling

Always dancing across the sky

Concentrating warmth in doses

The Sun giveth, the Sun taketh away

Ideas die on the vine every day

Open your heart to the art of harvest

No point telling the Sun how to shine
