Poem # 07 “ Nature's Lament ”

The moment I saw the cherry blossoms

My mind was blown close to heaven

I was thrown in a place where

Seven gates of heaven open

When I burnt the tulip garden

They said it was mere destruction

Little did they know what it was

Efforts of a lunatic to get some aroma

Did he have to burn it down?

Did he have to go that far?

He yearned to see the cherry blossoms

He lust to see the seven heavens

But in his rush to touch the sky

He forgot the beauty of the earth nigh.
