Comfort all around

Nature's Comfort

When it comes to comfort, it's nature for me,

From the howling of the wind or the hum of the sea.

The smell of cut grass that wafts past my nose,

And the feel of sand as I dig in my toes.

The twinkle of stars in the darkest night,

And the sun that peaks through at first light,

The hum of the bees and tweeting of birds,

Are a comforting song that has no words.

The warmth of the sun that kisses my skin,

And chases away any cold and pain within,

The night that embraces me in a loving way,

As the moon shines above to light the way.

It's all so wonderous, from the sky to the ground,

That's why nature's my comfort, and it's all around.
