Natural Magic

We nestled in

Between mountains

And along river

Finding magic

In every bird song

And every dancing leaf,

We found restful answers

To questions long posed,

And a vibrant view

Of things becoming

Every day.

We followed the moon

Between the trees

A game of

Peek-a-boo

To see who is best,

As we took in

Starry sky-ed world

Knowing the morning

Would bring alternate beauty

To our eager souls.

It was in the changing energy,

The ever flowing moments

That we searched the depths

Of our youthful minds

To find the reasons for the

Changing tides

And the ever running moon,

The reasons for our own shortcomings

And our own triumphs.

We chased energy,

Turning it into chaotic firefly

Fueld dreams.
