Give freely, To art, goofy shit, can be a hit 💗 So rhyme with us, This Friday, and any day is a plus, Start today!

May 8th Road Trip, Carol Verant Arola

Cruising down the highway

The hubby, the dog and me.

First trip to the greenhouse

I can’t hardly wait to see!

The colors, the beauty,

Every flower you could imagine.

I’ll fill my cart to the top

And then go back again.

Daisies, Geraniums, Petunias

And so very much more.

Hanging baskets everywhere

And beautiful pots lined upon the floor.

My list is long, I love this place

I can shop and shop for hours

I’ll bring them home and keep them warm

And hope for no more snow showers.

~~

Abundance, Jenny Wettersten

I started to play Spelling Bee

Because of my sister-in-law, Emily.

Today’s pangram I could not find,

I tried until I thought I’d lose my mind.

I could not see “abundance.”

I felt like a dunce.

What does this say about me?

I have so much in so many ways and I am free.

I can’t see “abundance” and it is in plain sight.

Emily gave cancer a damn good fight.

Gone at 43.

We’re coming up on the one-year anniversary.

Em lived and loved expansively.

She’d see the “abundance” in front of me.

I carry on our tradition of Wordle and Spelling Bee,

And Connections, which she excelled at ironically.

I need to heal from the grief and fully live.

Emily gave all she had to give.

What have I learned from she who has passed?

Life is short, put effort into having a blast.

Cherrish your friends, pets, and family.

Treat everyone you meet with kindness, and respectfully.

Spend time on water; play mean cards and talk smack.

Life is an adventure, grab your pack.

~

It's time for rhyme, as I sit here present in mind. Cheryl Babcock

Growth in life can be similar to the vine

when it's treated with water and shine.

It requires the divine, at the right time, in order for it to rise to it's highest.

The sun can be sublime at times, which causes the vine to ascend and climb, to rise to its highest in the moments of time.

It also requires darkness and warmth to rest for it to continue on, moving forward the vine begins its climb reaching high towards the sun as it starts to shine.

Similar to life when we rise and shine each day, hoping, growing and ascending our climb making the best of each moment one day at a time!

Our higher power is indeed our divine everytime, as we grow and climb to the highest of our times!

Water and sun are what makes our growth balanced everytime as we ascend from the earth grounded in time!
