My Thoughts

Fall and Scatter

My thoughts fall and scatter

Along the cobbled paths of my dreams

Dreams of you

Dreams of us

Sometimes these thoughts

Furtively scurry away into the

Wildness along the path

Like filthy rodents stealing my truth

And sometimes they just lie there, dead and useless

Rotting and decomposing

Becoming sustenance for more thoughts

The visions, or visitations, of you are real

S0 fucking real at times

I feel you calling me home

In my dreams, I see your hands reaching

Out for me through the veil

You are the only beauty I find in this hell

Without you

But it is not time yet

For me to come home

But soon

Until then

My thoughts fall and scatter

On the cobbled paths of my dreams

Dreams of you

Dreams of us
