My Sadness

The Quiet Struggle Between Darkness and Light

By Leesh lalaPublished about a year ago โ€ข 1 min read

๐Ÿ’”

In quiet nights, my heart does sigh,

Beneath the stars, I wonder why,

A heavy cloud wraps round my mind,

Lost in the shadows I canโ€™t unwind.

Try ๐Ÿ’”

I try to chase the fading light,

To turn my darkness into bright,

But tears still fall like morning rain,

Washing away hope with silent pain.

I hold the pieces, worn and torn,

Searching for a brand-new dawn,

Though sadness clings, I fight to see,

A glimpse of joy that might set me free.

The road is long, the night is cold,

Yet in my soul, a spark takes hold,

I try, I breathe, I start again,

To find the peace beyond the pain.

Inside, Iโ€™m breaking quietly, though no one sees my pain.
